Arlington bluebell walk

During the spring weeks of April and early may several car clubs are booked into the diary for Arlington Bluebell walks at Bates Green Garden East Sussex www.batesgreengarden.co.uk it is predicted that the middle to late April should provide the best displays. Central Sussex AROC are in their diary for April 19th. 2025 was a disappointing year for our visit as the preceding dry weather caused the bluebells to fail to materialise in any number, we did see a love display of other spring flowers though. I can’t see dry conditions being problem in 2026!
We have a specific parking area set aside for our visit which provide a gentle walk surrounded by a carpet of blue, on hard pathways through the woods. After our walk we will gather in the cafe for coffee, tea and cake, or you can have lunch there.
