2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the Giulia Type 952 being available in the United Kingdom and, to celebrate the occasion, the AROC Giulia Register and AROC Yorkshire Section are hosting a very special weekend Meet and Drive event on April 12th, 2026.

This event is also being run to raise money for two charities very close to two members of the Yorkshire area. These are Young Minds and MND Association. When completing your booking you will be able to give a voluntary donation that will be split equally between these amazing, and well deserving, charities. Thank you

The Type 952 Giulia took the motoring world by storm when it was first revealed in 2015 in its Quadrifoglio form and it was not long before every feature and review in the media was hailing it as the best modern Super Saloon available and a true return to form for Alfa Romeo.

The Giulia was designed as a ‘top down’ model range with the Quadrifoglio being the design platform and then all other models below coming afterwards. This meant that the full range benefitted from a lot of the amazing spec and features that the Quadrifoglio had and meant all models were class leaders in both weight distribution, handling and construction…and let’s not forget that it was also the most beautiful four door saloon car available at the time and still to this day!

In 2016, those lucky ones who had placed an order for a Giulia finally got to drive their cars and no one was disappointed!

10 Years later and the Giulia is still with us. The car has gone through several minor facelifts along with technology and mechanical changes, but nothing drastic and nothing that has taken away the core feeling of driving a Giulia. Tropes such as ‘heart’ and ‘passion’ are used often when describing Alfa Romeo’s, but no where do these words hold truer than when describing the feeling of driving a Giulia. This Year Alfa Romeo revealed the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa and it is a testament to how respected and admired the Giulia is that, 10 Years after launch, a special limited model still attracted much positive and admiring attention from the motoring world.

As a special celebration of 10 Years of the Type 952, the AROC Giulia Register and AROC Yorkshire Region are hosting a 100-mile drive around some of the best and most scenic driving roads in the UK, over the Yorkshire Dales and Pennines.

A beautiful local Hotel and Spa will host the AROC for the weekend with a dedicated, and secure, parking and assembly area. Members have the option of staying in one of the venues modern and well appointed rooms on Saturday 11th April. There will also be the chance to take part in a Land Rover Off Road Driving Taster session on the Saturday afternoon and then a special celebration three course meal that evening in a private banquet room at the hotel.

Auto Italia Magazine will also be coming along to capture this event and speak to Giulia owners as part of a feature they plan to run in a future issue for their own celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Type 952 Giulia.

The event is being run in association with MotorSport UK and a maximum of 60 cars will be able to take part.

Start/End Location – The Coniston Hotel, Coniston Cold, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 4EA

Start/Finish Times – Pre meet briefing at host venue at 10:00am. Small groups will then leave the venue with a gap between each group to avoid congestion. Route time is around 3 hours with a one hour stop on the way so estimated return time for all groups is around 3/4pm
