August Magazine Out Now
The August issue of the AROC Magazine has a full technical and driving report on the new Alfa MiTo which was launched in June. The AROC Concours at Stanford, Cotswold Alfa Day, the Concorso d'Eleganza and Goodwood Festival Of Speed also feature as well as the regular contributions.

Cloverleaf Club Driving Experience Dates
The Cloverleaf Club have three Driving Experience dates available in September for members to drive the range of new Alfa Romeos on track! These great value events are open to Colverleaf Club members only, but the good news is that the Cloverleaf Club are offering a year's FREE membership to AROC members. Details in the August magazine.

AROC Live! Cancelled
Due to a poor response, the Events Team has made the sad decision to cancel 'AROC Live' at MoD Woodbridge on Sunday 31st August 2008.
MITCAR
The eighth Midlands Italian Car Day is being held at Holdenby House, just a few miles from Junction 18 of the M1, on Sunday 10th August. We have exclusive use of a large, gated site and stewards will be on hand to park the cars by marque. The entrance fee will be a modest £5 per Italian Car and this will entitle everyone to a substantially discounted entrance to the gardens and falconry centre of £2 per person with children free (normally entrance is £5 !!)

June Magazine Out Now
The headline feature of the June issue of the AROC magazine is a road and track test of the Prodrive-developed Brera S. Photo from recent events at Chatham (SpAD) and Stanford Hall (AROC Concourse) area also included as are all the regular columns.

AROC Live!
On Sunday 31st August, we are organising an exciting new event - AROC Live. This will be an all-action day for the whole family and very much geared towards those members who have requested an event where they can drive their own cars and see others in action. Working in association with Javelin Trackdays at MoD Woodbridge in Suffolk, the full and varied programme will include circuit time with free instruction and hot laps, timed sprints and a large number of complementary attractions.

Spring Alfa Day
More than 1,500 Alfa Romeo owners and enthusiasts are expected to descend on the Historic Dockyard Chatham on Sunday 13 April as the venue plays host to the Alfa Romeo Owners Club season opening event of 2008. A fun day out for Alfa and car fans alike, Spring Alfa Day will see iconic and evocative examples from the past 60 years on display. The South Midlands Section web site has been updated with dates of their events in the new year. The revised site is another that has been set-up with the help of the AROC Publications team and content will be maintained updated directly by the section.

A new web site for AROC's Wessex Section has been launched to promote their activities in the Dorset and Hampshire areas. The site has been set up with the help of the AROC Publications team and shares a common design with the Club's main site, aroc-uk.com. However, it features news and events pages that will be updated directly by the section so that they can quickly refresh the content throughout the year.

AROC AGM Voting Extention
Due to the recent postal strikes, it was agreed by the members present at the AGM that AROC would extend the voting period for the appointment of the clubs Management Team to 30th October. Members should post their vote as per the instructions in the papers received with the October magazine.
October Magazine Out Now

AROC AGM Voting Forms
Due to the postal strike affecting the delivery of the October magazine and AGM voting forms, the Club have made a fax line available to receive completed voting forms. These can be faxed to the vice chairman, John Norrington, on 01473 230 594. Forms should be received no later than the 17th October.
NEC Classic Motor Show
9th, 10th and 11th of November 2007 at the NEC Birmingham, this is a 'must do' event for all motoring enthusiasts, with an enormous display of 1000 cars spanning five NEC halls this really is the biggest and best show of its kind in the UK, Discounted entry for AROC members
