AROC Area Section Involvement at National Alfa Day 2009

The various Area Sections of the AROC nationwide are considered by many to be the very lifeblood of the AROC. It's what Club life is all about. We certainly endorse that opinion with the result that we are pleased to announce some incentives to get your Section involved in the run up to - and participating in - National Alfa Day.

For 2009, there'll be a featured AROC Section of the Show where, as a mark of our appreciation for that Section's efforts in establishing and keeping the spirit of the Club alive in the regions, we'll make you our guests for the day. And we're pleased to announce that this year's featured Section will be AROC North East! So, if you're joining us from the Tyne Tees area and you'd like to see what your local Section's all about, you can find out at National Alfa Day. More details soon!

 

Many of you have contacted us to suggest that it’d be a great idea to organise regional Convoy Runs to the event from various points throughout the country so we’ve decided that we’ll do just that.

So, if your Area Section of the AROC’s keen to arrange a Convoy Run from all points north, south east or west of Newby Hall then please contact us and let us know all the details; what time it starts and from where, and we’ll publicise and coordinate your Section’s Convoy Run online for you.

What’s more, if you keep us informed of your local members’ names and details of the car(s) that they intend to take part in, then we can publish this online as well. That way, we and you will be able to keep up to date as far as the number of attendees are concerned and allow us to keep your run legal as far as informing local statutory bodies and the like is concerned.

We'll publish these details on this website as and when we hear of them. In the meantime, if you have any advance details of when and where your intended Convoy Runs are to commence, then please let us know as soon as possible so that we can get your details online as soon as we can.

In addition, we have a stock of National Alfa Day flyers available so if your Section would like some, please contact us and we’ll send you a handful.
